I love this pillow. I was in a car accident in ‘06 and have had trouble sleeping ever since. I also have Primary Progressive MS and that has contributed to my sleepless nights. This pillow has made it possible for me to sleep and wake up with virtually no pain in my neck; no stiffness etc…I would recommend this pillow to anyone. The only thing I had to do was “air” it out when it first arrived; after that it was sleeping bliss!

Memory foam beds are the apt solution to relax your tired aching neck. The support that these beds provide to the neck, shoulder and head is just great and has simply no comparison. Memory foam based beds lend a gentle touch to the sleeper and ensure that he/she gets a sound sleep. The pillows placed on the memory foam beds are of round shape on both the sides and it is this contour shape that supports the neck and corrects the spinal alignment.

Memory foam beds do not exert strain or pressure on the neck like other beds and therefore they have become the popular choice as well as recommendation of doctors and health care experts. These beds last for a longer duration and its mattresses provide immense support to the neck and thus help you get proper sleep. These beds have mattresses that very well adjust to your neck and head and assume the shape accordingly.

Memory memory foam pillow comparison foam beds are known too completely eliminate the problem of tossing and turning, which causes disturbance in sleeping. These beds give a soothing effect to your neck and you will feel as if someone is giving you a light massage. It is such a rejuvenating experiences that you will feel very fresh and energised from inside when you wake up the next morning.

Memory foam beds help support your neck and maintain the proper alignment of your spine. These beds help keep spine in the neutral position and this helps to relieve neck pain and back pain. If you want to test if your spine is correctly positioned or not, then simply stand and see if your back is completely straight or not. If you look from the side, you will feel your spine is forming a curved shape and if you look from the front side, you will find your spine forming a straight line. To get comfort, it is essential that your spine be in neutral position at the time of sleeping on the bed.

Firm beds often become the cause of pain in the neck and back. Such beds have a very stiff mattress that causes your neck to bend leading to discomfort and pain. There is a considerable difference in the usual beds and memory foam beds. The sleeper can clearly make out the difference. The comfort and support you get in case of memory foam beds is immense and it is for this reason that the manufacturers of memory foam charge a higher price but one thing I would like to emphasise here is that it is worth investing a larger sum for buying memory foam beds.

This is the best solution for people suffering from severe backache and is beneficial for all those who sleep on their back and sides. People leading hectic lifestyles are highly recommended to go for memory foam beds, as they can help release stress and strain.

Contour Memory Foam Pillow causes pain?
I bought a Contour Memory Foam leg pillow yesterday and tried it last night. I was up the entire memory foam pillow comparison night with horrible lower back pain, and woke up with my entire back aching. My nineteen year old daughter then tried it for a few minutes, and complained about her lower back aching. My last leg pillow never caused me any pain, so what's wrong with this one?

If you’re buying your own travel pillow so you don’t have to use the hotel’s nasty germy pillows, look elsewhere…

The main thing is that this is not a dense memory foam, so under the weight of an average head, this pillow mashes down to nothing which means no support – you’re basically lying on the bed without a pillow. Side sleepers, like me, should beware of this product! Unless you want to be lying on your arm (which will cause your arm to be numb after a while, and can cause shoulder damage), you really don’t want to even entertain the notion of buying this pillow. And I’m also not sure how they get 4.5 inches thick at it’s thickest. I measured mine and it was 3/4 inches less than that for a total of 3.75 inches at it’s thickest spot lying flat.

My toddler son will love this pillow so I’ve kept it. But this is certainly not for those of us who have neck problems, not for side sleepers and not for people who need a lot of head and neck support during the night.

Love this little memory foam pillow. Great for the airplane and car…like you know, when you fall asleep and your head dangles into no man’s land. This little bugger keeps my head in place. And it packs into a tiny little black bag that I slip into my backpack. Just went on a trip to Mexico with my sister and she had had some shoulder surgery and used it at night to prop her shoulder. GREAT product.

This is a nice pillow. This pillow is a great item to have when traveling. I like how it comes with it’s own bag that you can roll the pillow into. It may take a few times to get it in there just right, but it makes it small. I also like how the bag itself has a clip on it, so I can just clip it to my backpack and not have it take up room in my bag. This pillow did come with a little bit of a smell, but I have aired it out a few days, and it is fine now. It isn’t as nice as the real memory foam pillows, but those cost $80 or more. It does mold to your head, or back and it feels nice to lay on, and doesn’t go all flat like some imitations do.It does come in a pillow case, but I made a pillow case for it out of some material, sice the case does seem to attract dirt to it, though you can put it in the wash (the case only). When I am on vacation I don’t have means or time to wash it much, so the material pillow case is perfect. It is a soft pillow case on it though, and the pillow is a great buy! I plan on using it more during this summer. It will be used on the plane and at the campsite!

Got this for my trip to the east coast and found it super comfortable. The Virgin America plane had comfortable seats but the headrest wasn’t, so this came in pretty handy.

What I didn’t like was that the little travel case that comes with this is a tad too small and rolling and packing the pillow into it could have been made a little easier. However, the pillow retains original shape after unrolling so it doesn’t harm the product as such.

The worst part: I accidentally left mine in the cab on the way back home. :(

this is the first time i am writing a review for anything on amazon. i just felt i had to inform people of this great product.

i admit this is my first memory foam pillow but i was very impressed. i usually have a problem falling asleep and getting comfortable but not after my first night with this. i wasn’t sold on the memory foam concept when i first saw it but i’ve been convinced. also i thought the firmness of this pillow was perfect and had no issues making the transition to the memory foam world. if anything this is a great product at the price to give a memory foam pillow a try if you were always curious.

I purchased this pillow for my bf who has chronic back/neck pain. He has always had trouble falling asleep due to discomfort, but he said with this pillow, he falls asleep in twenty minutes and stays asleep all night. He loves it! Very comfortable and molds nicely to the shape of your neck.

  7. Kolb says:

I was looking for a supportive but soft pillow, and I had 5 different pillows on my bed to prove it. While I like the softness of down, there is no support and it needs to be squished and smashed, etc. Firmer pillows have no give. This is a great pillow. I can sleep on my side, on my back, or on my stomach and not have to worry about neck pain the next morning. Fits standard pillow cases with no problem, comes with a soft fabric cover that zips on and off. Let it air out 24-48 hours out of the fabric cover after opening it to get rid of the chemical smell.

  8. Erkel says:

Weird foam feel. Not as nice as the name brand Isotonic or Tempurpedic pillows I’ve had in the past.

  9. Maddox says:

I purchsed this pillow for my sister-in-law who just
had her knee replaced. I had used one when I had
a similar surgery with my knees. I loved it and it
aided in my recovery. It allows you to get into a
comfortable position with the support that you need.
You can also use it on the healthy leg which needs
relief as well. Because you are laying down a lot it
worked under your elbow and upper arm area. When you
really get bored you can throw it at someone without
    hurting them!!!

  10. Alden says:

Prior to purchasing this pillow, I was suffering with severe pain in my left hip every night. I tried using regular pillows between my legs to no avail. When my wife presented me with this item, I was skeptical, however after just a few nights, my hip pain disappeared COMPLETELY! It is/was truly miraculous, and I highly recommend it.

  11. Metcalfe says:

This product is very disappointing. The cover is nice, but the foam compresses too easily and does not provide the leg support found in other such pillows.

  12. Edgington says:

I recently had major back surgery and my doctor insisted that when I sleep on my side that I have a pillow between my knees to keep my hips in alignment. At first I thought I would not like sleeping with any pillow but I soon found out I preferred it. When I used a regular pillow I was always wrestling with it to get it situated…then I’d have to start the process all over when I rolled to the other side. With this contour memory foam pillow it’s just the perfect size and when I roll over it’s easy to have it stay between my knees as I roll over. I wonder now how I ever lived without it. I would definately recommend this to anyone that needs this sort of support while laying down.

  13. Ignacio says:

I am a “Pillow Junkie” as I have tried just about every type of pillow on the market. The Simmons Beautyrest Memory Foam is my absolute favorite pillow! It is perfect if you are a side or back sleeper. It is not too thick or too thin and comfortably conforms to the shape of your head. After a recent surgery and spending more time then usual in bed I was very comfortable with this pillow.

  14. Gabor says:

I slept on my stomach for much of my life, but in the last year, noticed an increased number of nights sleeping on my back. Along the way, I’ve lost sleep and gained more headaches. Someone suggested that I find a better pillow. When I saw this memory form pillow on Amazon, and on sale, I decided to try it out. When I received it, I was instantly happy with it. Having used it for a couple of weeks now, I’ve enjoyed better sleep, and probably as a result, less headaches.

The only negative aspect I’ve experienced with this pillow is when I sleep on my stomach. I find the back of my neck a little achy having slept on a pillow much higher than my old, nearly flat pillow. Overall, this is a good pillow, and I’d recommend it, especially if you sleep mostly on your back, and not on your stomach.
