I was looking for a memory foam mattress which would not blow a hole in my wallet. The chemicals smell lasted a few days and the bed expanded to full size in 5 hours. This bed is firm which is what I like. You sink into the bed gradually and the memory foam cocoons your back. I love this bed and have not had any back trouble since I purchased it.
