I bought this after reading the unfavorable reviews that say the item is too thin, and not firm enough. For me, the product is absolutely great. Personal preference plays a big role in the reviews of this item, i feel.

Here is my situation: My mattress was so soft that when i laid on it, the entire thing compressed and i was basically sleeping on wood and springs. Very uncomfortable. This item, though only about 2 inches deep, has turned my bed into something i really enjoy sleeping on. It is very soft, and very comfy, but not so soft that it just completely compresses (like my mattress did).

Overall i’d say buy it. Its inexpensive, but still functions great.

What kind of bed frame is recommended for a memory foam mattress?
We bought a memory foam mattress and box springs about 6 months ago. The box springs memory foam overlay keep breaking, the boards just snap. It's been replaced 5 times, and upgraded the box springs so I can't blame it on the mfg ! I have asked if we need some kind of special bedframe, ours is just metal with a cross bar, and was told it should be fine. Please help! This is getting embarassing!
